How will I know when my child is ready for Gerber toddler foods?

Gerber foods and beverages for toddlers are designed for children ages 1 and year and up.

Which is better: homemade puree or GERBER®?  

Both use natural ingredients with no preservatives. GERBER® purees are also designed to meet your baby’s stage-specific nutritional needs.

My baby doesn’t finish their puree. How long can it be kept?  

Once opened, the product can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours, as long as it hasn’t come into contact with your baby’s saliva. To avoid contamination, serve leftovers on a plate instead of returning them to the jar.

Do baby foods need to be heated?

No. All baby foods can be served cold, warm, or at room temperature. Your baby may not prefer warmed foods, so it's not necessary.

Are there formulas that are suited for supplementing breastfeeding?

All routine formulas provide complete nutrition and can be used for supplementing breastmilk.

How do I warm purees?

You can gently heat them in the microwave or on the stove,but always test the temperature first to make sure it’s just right for your baby. Remember to remove the lid and label.
